A healthy weekend motivation! The weekend is here and my taste buds have already started giving me hints as to what flavors they’d like this weekend. And I’m like, hello..!! Hang on, there’s something healthy I have on my mind 😉

This is a super easy recipe, and super healthy too. Here’s the recipe ~
Ingredients
- Yeast – 1.5 teaspoon
- Sugar – 1 teaspoon
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoon milk powder
- Oats flour – 1 cup
- Whole wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- Ragi flour and Chickpea flour (or any other flour of your choice) – 1/3 cup each
- Chia seeds, Sesame seeds, Flax seeds, rolled oats – 1 and half tablespoon
- Oil for greasing the pan
Recipe
- Add yeast and sugar in half cup lukewarm water and let it rest for 15 minutes
- In another bowl soak about 1 tablespoon of the seeds in 2-3 tablespoon of lukewarm water (save of the remaining seeds for later)
- In a mixing bowl add all the flours, milk powder and a pinch of salt
- After 15 minutes add the yeast mixture and the soaked seeds to the flour and mix
- Knead the mixture for about 15 minutes and then let it rest for 40 minutes in a greased bowl
- After 40 minutes knead the flour for another 5 mins and coat it with the remainder of the seeds
- Grease a bread mould and transfer the flour into it
- Bake the bread in a pre-heated oven @180 degrees for 35-40 minutes
Enjoy it guilt free as a side dish with a little garlic butter or toast them as a side for your salad.
